Solved my own problem: getting accurate detail

I had a problem with getting fuzzy detail around parts of my designs when washing out, and had trouble narrowing down the cause

It turns out that the film that i was using was getting subtley wrinkled when put through the rollers on my cheapy printer.

1. I ironed out the wrinkles on the film using a household iron.
2. I also ran the design through the printer a couple more times to make sure it was completly opaque.
3. I sandwiched the film between a smaller piece of glass and the screen. (which alltogether sat on top of the exposure unit)

Experienced printers might be rolling their eyes, but I hope this helps at least one newbie out there...

whatever works!

What printer and film are you using?
