Transparency printer help
I currently have a HP Laserjet P2015 and the ink quality is not very dark. I can't mess with the settings to get it any darker/opaque. I'm running it on OSX and it takes such a long time at prores 1200dpi it times out. I'm looking into a inkjet now. Any thoughts from owners of, or people with of knowledge of the Epson 3000 or R1800?

The 3000 is out of date and the R1800 is pigment based ink.
So there are pros and cons to both.
The R1800 is a pigment based system which means you need to use a waterproof film or switch over your inks to dye based. The best combinations so far that I've found is dye based ink with a waterproof film. The films are virtually indestructible.
