hey guys,
First off, this is my first post on a screenprinting forum and I think it's pretty cool....
I'm the lead artist at Native Sons in myrtle beach SC, and was recently asked to look into buying a new larger format imagesetter.
We currently have two ecopro's and I think they are great! but recently we have been doing larger prints and having to splice the film together...spot colors are fine this way but anything with a gradient just doesn't work....
My requirements:
I need to get at least a 18 or 20 inch wide print area.....
I want it to be dry media....
I looked at the Oyo Liberator, and my boss said if we HAD to he'd spend the money to get the best... but I'm looking to find something a little cheaper for the brownie points...
p.s. on a side note, I don't want anything to do with fastfilm or fastrip or any other crap from that company. they suck and I would rather do the seps myself.
imagesetters....
