Problems printing on folded record jackets

Post by rp3703 »

My ink keeps running under the screen in the same corner near the line of the folded and glued record jackets I am trying to print on. I built my screen frame and press table and have holes drilled into the table with a vacuum underneath to keep the jackets secure. They do not move. I have my screen raised 1/8" with spacers in each corner.
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Just in case anyone else stumbles across this thread with the same issue, I figured it out. Every video I saw tells you to flood the screen between prints. Maybe it's this Speedball Ink or it's just bad advice all together but when I stopped flooding the screen, it worked out great and my ink never dried to the screen.
