Getting good paper

Post by randyrocchi »

Hi all,

I'm new here and have a question about getting decent sheets of 22x30 Arches 88. I live in the SF Bay Area and have been frustrated with getting pristine sheets that don't have dings and haven't been mis-handled during shipping. I've been to 3 different art stores and ordered packs of 10 which come sealed in a plastic wrapper and in a box, and each time all of the sheets have the same creases and marks which are un-acceptable. I am told that the paper is either shipped from a warehouse in Reno or Las Vegas and the damage most likely occurs in those locations or maybe before and they can't guarantee that the next replacement order will be any better.

I'm reaching out to find out if anyone has any advice on where and how to get good paper?

Thanks in advance!
Randy
