Film Positive coming out blotchy HELP

Hello, I'm a noob to the SIlkscreen world. I just bought a brand new Epson XP-440 (Nothing fancy, just saying. it's not used or anything.) Anyway, I have artwork I made in Adobe Illustrator with brush strokes, I've expanded and merged it and did all-lat good stuff. Made it 100% CMYK all channels, but when I go to print the film positive comes out reallllly blotchy. The printer settings are set properly to the size of the transparency film, and I have the setting on gloss. When I print it out on paper it comes out perfectly fine. Any advice would be great, thanks. This image doesn't have any halftones or gradients, and I am NOT using RIP software.
