Hello Everyone!
I am new to screen printing and have coated my first screen on two different occasions now. Each time I return to my screen after it has dried over night I find that there are quite a few (10-20?) bumps that are about 1/4 - 1/2 inch in diameter on the substrate side of the screen. I have no clue what could be causing these bumps and I was hoping some of you may have some advice. I am drying it in a completely dark half bathroom and letting it sit between the edges of two chairs. Thanks for any advice you may have in advance!

Hi there,
We use to have the same problem in our shop also.....This is due to excess emulsion on your screen....Then gravity takes over and well....it drips!!!. To resolve the problem, i suggest : Wiping off the excess emulsion...or stand them up to where they cannot drip on one another! Hope this helps.

Re: Emulsion Bumps on Screen
yep, sounds like too much emulsion and more importantly, over coating. I pass my screens- 2 (front) x 1 (back) and set the screen print side down wards while drying. Good luck!
