Printing on Teflon-coated Fabrics

Hi everyone!

I'm very new to screen printing but I'm loving the heck out of it.

I recently printed an apron that was met with great success with requests that I sell more. I just ordered some more aprons, though they're Teflon-coated. The supplier assured me that it wouldn't affect my printing results, but I thought I'd check with the kind folks here to see if they had any tips, tricks, or advice.

Will Teflon-coated cotton make printing difficult?

Thanks!

I'd be inclined to say yes. I doubt waterbased or plastisol inks would stick. Check with Nazdar to see if they manufacture any inks that will adhere to teflon. I know the belt on my conveyor dryer is coated with teflon and any plastisol that gets on it comes right off no matter how many times it's cycled through the dryer.
Did you buy the aprons BECAUSE they were teflon-coated, or was that just the way they happened to come?
