exposure unit

Please help. I'm building an exposure and Im not sure if I got the right fluorescent tubes. I could only find F18t8/blacklight blue fluorescent tubes....had to drive 600 kilometres for it!
Can I use F18t8/blacklight blue fluorescent tubez for my exposure unit??? Plz anyone?

What you need is unfiltered blacklight, these appear to be party lights.

Just try exposing a screen to them, if it works you are OK, if it doesn't, then you need to worry.

I am using these lights an havent had a problem with the exposure. :D

The purple UV lights are for stoners. The unfiltered UV lights have the correct UV wavelength for exposure, look like a regular bulb, but emit a slight bluish light. They'll also give you a sunburn with long exposures and shouldn't be stared at, or used as a light table to set up art.
