Hello. I am new to screen printing and I am having a hard time locating where to purchase lights for the light box I made.

Are you looking for fluorescent type lights or a metal halide bulb?

I am looking for unfiltered black lights. I am not sure. The housing I purchased says the bulbs require 17 w t8 but I was told that bulb will not do the job. Maybe you have a better recommendation? Thanks.

T8 refers to size of bulb, most units use T12's, they are both florescent. You will need to contact a specialty lighting store or a commercial electrical supply business that sells a lot of ballasts.
