Yellow ink on black shirt

i am a student screen printer and the yellow ink i use does not work very well on a black shirt. Is there any why is can print yellow on a black shirt?

Either give it two or three hits or underbase with a white.

That is a good idea since I also faced such problems and I tried to do the same way. It works!

Yep, gotta do the white underneath (twice if you really want the yellow to pop)!
