Can someone in the know please push me in the correct direction with our Epson 4880? Epson themselves won't commit either way on whether MAtte or Photo black will give us the best results on film positives. We currently have Photo black in the unit and the Blacks are less dense than, say, our old Epson SP 1400 but I'd rather not go through the wasteful ink conversion to Matte black if the end result isn't going to be any better?

Any input gratefully appreciated.

ONLY photoblack, the matt won't dry.
