Dip Tanks

What chemicals do you put into our diptanks or is it just water.
To clean the screen free of emulsion, I use 1 part water, 1 part distilled vinegar.
After soaking for about 1/2 hour, a nice soft bristle brush does the job.
I use aluminum frames, so not sure what this process would do to wood frames ove a period of uses.
