Problems with installing FastRIP to XP Professional

Recently I purchased a used copy of FastRIP 8.5 and a Epson R1800. The software was copied from the original disk before the original disk was damaged. The person from whom I purchased the package said that he used the same disk to load and unload the FastRIP software on other computers before selling it to me. For some reason I am having problems loading it on my Windows XP professional system.
He told me to launch the install application from a file called PSQueue.exe but this just seems to install the printer configuration. Can anyone please assist me.
