A FEW MORE TRANSPARENCY QUESTIONS!

I am using a hp deskjet 6940 inkjet printer to print my transparencies. Thinking about buying an epson but for now stuck using the hp. my question is i heard the photo ink catridge has uv blockers in it. is it viable to switch from regular black cartridge to the photo black cartridge? also would it work if i printed on tracing paper and tried to burn my screen using tracing paper?
