USING LARGER TRANSPARENCIES

I'm just starting out screen printing and the limited knowledge i have picked up is either from youtube tutorials or by trial and error. My question is, i have 8.5"x11" transparencies but i want to burn a screen that will stretch across the back of a tshirt. i am using corel draw x4. is there any way to print the transparencies on two sheets and tape em together? i tried setting my page layout to 22"x 8.5" but it didnt work! any help would be greatly appreciated!
