Hello
I was wondering about heat presses. I recently bought one and tried it out. It left a square on the back of the shirt, exact size of the press itself. Will this go away? Is it normal? Its an older press but seemed to heat up fine. Also, should I place something in side the T-shirt while its on the press? Should I place something in between the shirt and bottom side of the press? Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

That's normal and it will go away with the first washing.

The metal of the press should NEVER come in contact with the garment you are pressing.
You need a Teflon sheet to put between the metal or the press and the garment.
You can buy them a few places but STAHLS.com would be a good place to start

.... I can give you my opinion but I can't tell you if it's right or not.
