Printing a complete shirt ?

Post by premiumblue »

Hi,

Is it possible to print the complete back or front of a shirt ? I mean the total covering of the front / back.

How do I do this ? Do I have to make a complete template in the shirt size on my screen ?
Otherwise the ink wil be presses also near the shirt I guess ? So i have to clean the background before every new shirt ?

Or is the shirt think enough so the ink won't touch the background ?

An example http://verkopen.marktplaats.nl/photopopup/426779380/1

That looks like it's sewn from a printed fabric, the usual problem is that the seams interfere with the printing process.

You can do it by table printing. But the seams will make problem in this case. No problem in trying, all the best.

Using a table press is a way to go but it's very time consuming and tedious. To take care of the seam problem we used water based ink and neoprene on the shirt board. The neoprene gives and allows for a more even print. In my opinion it's not worth it.
