Need a scale that reads .01 of a gram

Post by taglessthreads.com »

Hey, does anyone knows of where I can find a scale that reads .01 of a gram and has a max gram capacity of at least 2000 preferably under $200, been looking for something in that range but no luck. Thanks in advance!

You need a laboratory scale but probably need to revise your budget, why do you need to weigh to 0.01g on a screenprint forum?!?

Yeah I know it sounds like I am growing a little farm in the basement doesn't it? When mixing custom colors with Matsui water base inks you need a scale that measures .01 of a gram. Your probably right about the budget. Was hoping someone out there was using a scale in that caliber though.

It would be cheaper to get two scales, a letter scale will go to 2kg and measure in 1g intervals for a few bucks.
You can get a finer scale that only measures to say 500g at 0.1g. http://windspinners.mttext.com/Escali-L ... LPLI6Y.htm
Measure the little components before the larger ones.
I find the problem with these things is that they turn off after 2 mins so if you turn your back you lose the tare.
