would someone please explain to me the principle of pin registration and how it works. I understand the generalization of it I just can't seem to visualize one. Can anyone direct me to a web site for this? thanks

Pin registration
It's vital to pin the films for a multi colored / screen design so that they will register / line up properly.
Some of the registering can be done on press but should be engineered ahead for quickest production time.
I used to get my film output at a service bureau that punched the holes in the film for me and even gave me a custom pin bar so that it would all work universally.
