Sign Lab makes a simple an inexpensive program called Short Cut ES2. It has all the necessary tools need to cut just about any job. You can import files from Corel, Adobe, etc.. and cut them in the program. I just cut and paste from Corel. Those programs included from the manufacturer are usually helpless. I got mine from Sign Supply USA. Good luck!

I use their 7.1 print and cut. Excellent program, very user friendly. The ability to work with Adobe and Corel is very nice as well. I'ved used oe taught many other cad programs and for my $$ Signlab is it.

I have a few softs that are ok but I find that the roland plug-in for adobe illustrator is great. (I have a roland cutter)

What cutter and computer do you have?
You are going to have alot more options on the PC side of things.
We Apple users are still slighted in this market but the future is looking good.
Most of the sign shops I go into use sign lab or flexi

Good Luck and keep us posted
.... I can give you my opinion but I can't tell you if it's right or not.
