Automatic Presses

Post by LASER2 »

Going to purchase an automatic this spring. Anyone had any experience with the Lawson Mini-Trooper XL or Trooper? Looked at one the other day and was impressed with it. I want 5 colors (no more than 6), quartz flash, double stroke for whites, and automatic carousel advance. Looked at M&R, but it was really pricey and seemed overly complicated. Any others out there worth a look? Like everything else, I need a low maintenance, everyday runner.

My best suggestion is you get what you paid for. Cheap is not always the way to go, if your press is constantly down and costing you money than the cheaper press isn't worth it. When purchasing a press make sure to get a lot of referrals and make sure to speak with their tech service and pick their brains on what to expect with their presses. Good luck!

M&R is my recommendation.
