Printers for printing A3 films

Post by edcooper »

Hi
Just wondering what Ink jet printers people are using?
I've been using an Epson colour 3000 for years but its finally packed up today so I'm in need of a replacement.

I've heard that a lot of printers now use LED's to recognize when the paper is loaded and that this won't work on transparent films. Are their any printers that don't use this method as I don't really have time to stick backing paper onto each film.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Ed

If you're looking for something different than an epson that doesn't use inkjet technology, have you checked out OKI Data's proColor Series? I recently purchased one of their white toner digital color printers and highly recommend it.

For how long are you using this printer? Any issues so far?

And how would you rate it out of 10?
