On press cleaners

So this is my first post in this forum and I'm looking for a little insight. The current ink cleaner I'm using is made by Easyway, but produces quite a toxic, patroleum sort of smell that stinks up the whole shop. It's very effective, but I just don't have the ventilation to keep up with it during the colder months. I'm looking for suggestions on a different cleaner that doesn't smoother the senses. At this point I'm willing to use products that may require a little more elbow grease, so long as I can breathe while using them. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

I agree with D Flemming Nazdar does make a good cleaner as well as Kiwo and other suppliers. But here is what I have learned. The so called green cleaners are just that they are very slow to evaperate and when temps. are cool it can take them forever to evaperate off the screen. You may need to get 2 different cleaners 1 for press wash and 1 for clean up. My advice is to get samples from your supplier and try them before you buy.
Hope this helps

A quick final wipe with xylene will dry fast, make sure to wear gloves. I print a lot of corogloss and the screen wash from Nazdar always seems to put a little more color on the rag from the mesh but it does cost more than grabbing a gallon of xylene from the Depot. I keep both on hand..

Hey D, Xylene never used it, is it as fast as acetone or slower or about the same?
Thanks

It's pretty quick, gets out of the way fast too. Grab a gallon next time you're at the hardware store and check it out.

It seems one question was missed.

What ink are you using?
