PVC RAINWEAR MATERIAL SCREEN PRINTING PROBLEM

Postby rishijain09 » Mon Feb 02, 2015 2:47 am

HELLO EVERYONE,

I HAVE BEEN FACING PROBLEMS WHILE SCREEN PRINTING ON PVC SHEETS FOR RAINWEAR PURPOSE. I USE SOLVENT BASED INKS AND AS THE THICKNESS OF THESE SHEETS IS AROUND 0.18MM AND BEING FLEXIBLE IN NATURE I FACE A LOT OF SHRINKAGE PROBLEMS OF THE PVC SHEETS. TO CURE THIS I DECIDED TO PASTE THE PVC SHEET ON A HARD ABS SHEET TO ELIMINATE THIS SHRINKAGE PROBLEMS. TO PASTE THIS I USE A LOCAL WATER BASED ADHESIVE AND AFTER THE PRINTING PROCESS IS DONE THE GUM GETS TRANSFERRED ON THE PVC SHEET WHICH AGAIN CREATES A PROBLEM . IS THERE ANY WAY OUT OF THIS. IS THERE ANY POSSIBLE ADHESIVE WHICH WILL NOT GET TRANSFERRED TO THE PVC SHEET.
