Printing light colours over dark - too see-through!

Post by popcorny »

Hi there,
Does anyone know how to make light colours stand out really vibrantly over dark colours? Whenever I try to do gold or another light colour over black or dark colours, it's so see through!
Doeas anone know of some kind of substance you can mix in with it?
Any advice would be very appreciated.
Thanks very much!

Put light down first then dark. Adjust artwork accordingly.

You can underbase the light colours with white to give them punch.

You should select light colors in background. It will prevent your transparency when you apply dark colors on it.
