Color seperations using Corel9

Postby Maxie » Fri Sep 15, 2006 1:16 am

Can anyone help me with the procedure for making color seps using Corel 9.
How do I fill areas that are not closed?
I want to scan a black line drawing and then fill the colors with spot, and print as spot seperations.
Some of the images are not closed and some have no black outline.

if you want to fill area you have to close it first
you can draw fills first and then put outlines on another layer on it
good luck

Hi Maxie...
I have seen Corel in action, and have been in pre-press for 15 years now.
Do yourself a favor and switch to Adobe Illustrator as soon as possible.
You'll know why shorty after you do.
