Any one out there let me know what a Good starting % to pay someone to rep us. 100% commission, will set up some type of draw after we see what he is bring in. but I want to be fair, but of course dont want to pay him to much.......

Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated.

I would say you need to do a variable rate scale commission.
If he makes a sale in a certain range you pay accordingly
Mine is something like this
$0 - $299 = 5%
$300 - $999 = 10%
$1000 and up 15%

Some other people I know do a 1% per $100 up to 15%

You could also sell to him as a sub contractor and then he can mark up the job as he sees fit.

The main thing is WHOS customer is it in the end?
If this sales guy leaves you is he taking those customers?
Is he handling all aspects of the job other then printing?
.... I can give you my opinion but I can't tell you if it's right or not.
