Compensation for Salespeople

Post by midnightmike »

Changing my sales compensation structure to be more performance based, can anyone provide any insight into how they structure their commission only compensation? Flat percentage or staggered based on sales and what percentage of sales?

I usually go 10%, 15%, 20%
Depending on the profit amount of the job.
For example.... 24 shirt order.... YOUR NOT GETTING A COMMISSION
$500+ = 10%
$2500+ = 15%
$5000+ = 20%
.... I can give you my opinion but I can't tell you if it's right or not.
