All I can suggest is to cut back on the time.

This is possibly the worst way to cure a plastisol print.

An entry level, stationary flash would more than pay for itself
in ruined shirts!!

Buy a panel and control from Black Box and fabricate your own stand if that makes it less $$$.

Take heart. My Dad used to cure transfers 30 years ago with heat lamps!
I know where you are coming from! Just don't beat yourself to death
trying to be cheap!! If you're serious, take small, but well informed steps.
And don't waste money on DIY things that we know won't work.

Ask first!!!

Keep asking the ????'s Even the ones you feel are stupid.

Trust me, there are others waiting to hear the answers as well!!!

Agreed. 2 minutes seems like a long time. I'd try 45 seconds max. Do it and wash the shirt a few times and see how it fairs. Honestly though, a couple hundred dollars will get you a flash unit that can be used to cure all your shirts. I've never tried an oven, myself, but I did use a flash unit only for awhile. Since then I've upgraded to a conveyor system, but really only because it speeds up the process 3x, and when time is on company money... the quicker the better.

I also have tried curing in an oven and it is not a good solution. This Black Box you mention is that a company or are you just saying to build a black box flash dryer? I am looking for an economic solution to this problem myself.

Thanks,

My bad for not including that info earlier!

Just tell them what you are trying to
do and they'll and they'll get you hooked up.

The Little Buddy model might be more affordable than you think.

If you can cure one shirt while printing another
you've just doubled your productivity and profit!

I'll bet it would pay for itself in a month or two
and it's a whole lot more consistent!
