Printing without press, getting thick print?

Hey guys

I'm relatively new to printing, but I figured this doesnt really go under "newbie" questions seeing as I have the basics of exposure, etc down. I dont have a printing station or anything like that, and I've been using quarters stacked underneath the corners of the screen to space it properly, but the ink we are using (speedball) leaves only a thin print and soaks a bit through the cloth, what do you guys without printing stations do to get a good thick print?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Also we are printing on simple white hanes t-shirts.
