Printing an jersey yardage

Post by craftykinoko »

Hi,
I would like to print jersey yardage(about 8oz.per yard)
I'm using permaset aqua ink and the photo emulsion method. My question is what size screen to use, I have no idea what mesh size(I have 200 and 110). The manufacturer said to use a 110 for shirts but my print is much finer and I am not sure how yardage differs from tees(printing wise).
Here is my print:

Thanks:).

You should be able to use the 110 mesh with out an issue- i have been printing fabric yardage for six years with waterbased inks. I wouldn't go any higher than 160 ish. You asked what screen size to use- did you mean dimensions? Use one that will at least give you 2 inches of space around your design. Good luck.
