union ink

Post by joshtheprinter »

i am using arotex waterbased ink and ultasoft plus series inks.
They both are work excellent for my multicolored shirts and t-shirts. What i was wondering was what is the smell that comes out of the can when i open the areo tex series water based ink? Also is the plus series ink solvent based? I do not beleive it is but i just want to make sure. I need to stay away from solvent based products. I order chemicals from franmar.

thanks

ultrasoft is Plastisol - not exactly 'solvent based' in that it does not dry by evaporation but needs to be heat set.
