intel mac and Corel

Postby nils » Wed Oct 11, 2006 12:54 am

I got new Intel mac. Corel Draw 11 does not launch in this computer.

Is there any solution for intel Mac to read Corel Draw files and save them as PDF?

Switching to windows is not good solution because I have so many files
and I have FTP-server running in my mac.

Try www.Webexpo.org

I am an Apple user but I dont like Corel at all.

Illustrator for me
.... I can give you my opinion but I can't tell you if it's right or not.

I'm pretty sure even with an INTEL Mac you cannot load or run CorelDraw on it. Corel is not Mac friendly from what I've read/been told.

The ONLY option is the Mac Bootcamp and switching back and forth...

I don't think that would work. Although you can use a separate drive and get windows running on your mac, you can do it that way.

Since most of my work is done on the mac, it would be helpful to be able to continue running Corel Draw there. I'm currently running version 11 there but I really don't know if that's the latest version compatible with the mac. It runs, albeit very sluggishly, but Photopaint 11 aborts on launch. I should also mention that Draw doesn't run 100%. None of the bitmap filters work. But it still allows me to do the types of things I can't do in Final Cut Pro.
