How do you acheive this effect?

Post by gilbertthegreat »

Hi

I just bought this shirt (in white), and was wondering how you screenprint black and white photos like this? Is this what they call halftone? It's definitely waterbased ink. Just curious as to the technique.

just need a good halftone.
When doing dark shirts you usually have to use the negative image so that the parts that are white come out white and not the other way around.

I do shirts like that with plastisol all the time. Mostly "In Loving Memory" shirts.

90% of the project is going to come from starting with a QUALITY image on the computer.
.... I can give you my opinion but I can't tell you if it's right or not.
