Why are these curvy lines appearing in my print?

I am trying to overcome a problem with my first ever print. The ink seems to stick to the paper too much, and this leaves soft curvey lines in the print as the screen pulls away. I think this is a problem with the ink consistency, but I'm not sure what the solution is. I can't find any information on this in google searches, any help and suggestions from more experienced printers would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

How are you getting the paper secure to the print platen? Do you have a proper amount of offset to get good snap off?

Hi D, I haven't secured the paper to the platern, I'm using a desk surface of MDF. The snap off is about 2-4mm.

Try a small amount of 3m super 77 spray adhesive to keep your printed material down on platen. Screen should snap off print surface right behind squeegee.
