Hi

So i was wondering about bulbs and what to buy, ideally i was looking for a Clear 1000W metal halide which seem readily available in the US, but i can't seem to find anything that looks legit in the uk. Has anyone bought one of these recently.

I was going to just use say a sunmaster 1000w metal halide grow lamp, but the guy told me the bulbs filtered out UV light so it wasn't detremental to humans.

Any ideas on this or where to look. I'm pretty much built and just need the lamp.

It's often just the glass cover that is uv treated, you can remove it to boost the uv output?

IM in the same position, mostly built just need the lamp. did this option work out? if not any ideas where i can get a 1000w/1600w metal halide lamp?
