Inks for beginners

Post by mrfun »

Hi.
Any particular brand of inks suitable for beginners in screenprinting?
I'm just playing around with some small screens for now and I wanted to know what brands give the best results on fabric.
Mostly shirts, but, other cotton and cotton blend items as well.
Thanks a bunch.

The brands of ink are not as important as the type of ink. For beginners, it is best to use plastisol ink since you are printing on cotton. Water based inks are a little tricky for a newbie.
Let us know how it works out.

You will need a way to heat-cure plastisol.
