QTX exposure times in noon sun

Post by capn_ron »

I'm looking to burn some screens in the sunlight. I have Ulano QTX and thought I might be able to get an idea of exposure times for direct noon sunlight. Any help is appreciated.

I would think it is going to be pretty fast after reading the details of QTX on Ulano.com. One of the reasons I use rlx is because of how forgiving it is to room light, in the summer noon sun that takes about three minutes but QTX is going to be quicker. I would start around a minute and do a step wedge test either direction to zero in on the proper time. Remember in the winter your time will get a little longer due to the distance of the sun from earth.
