gradient design

Post by bgoodmac »

Just got a job and they want a gradient design. It changes from dark grey, to medium then light grey. They sent me the art work on Corel, but the design looks like it's just three different shades of solid grey, not the pixel look or (dots) How do I change the solid colors to the dots?
thanks!

I don't know much about corel, but you will have to use a spot color for the gray. So if there is 3 different shapes with 3 different grays, you will have to assign the same spot color to each shape. After you have done that, you can double click on the color in the bottom right corner of the screen and a window should pop up that you can change the tint percentage making each shape lighter or darker.
