EMULSION PROBLEM

Post by ERICK VON MAES »

There are a couple of semi large spots on my screen where i have scrubbed it numerous times with emulsion remover and it will not come out. Is this just something that happens now and then or did I do something wrong. What happens when you overexpose a screen?

Overexposing should not create a problem with reclaiming. I find it easier to reclaim an overexposed screen with our emulsion.
Did you let the reclaiming solution dry on the screen? Doing so will make it impossible to get the emulsion out.

Ditto the solution drying on the screen. If remover and a pressure washer can't blast it out it's probably time to restretch.

Overexposure usually can be cleaned out with emulsion remover. I agree that you will probably have to restretch because if it isnt coming out with pressure washer and emulsion remover, the screen is probably ruined. Hope this helps.
