Printing positives

Post by shoreteez »

I am very new to the business and the artwork part seems to have me a bit puzzled. I have a small job that I am doing in which I sent out the artwork and had it redrawn as a vector image and sent back to me as an eps. file. I am going to open and print it from Illustrator. I need to get the image to the size I need for the back of a t-shirt. My printer only prints 8.5" x 11" and I realize that the image will be bigger than that. How do I go about enlarging the image in Illustrator and printing the image onto 2 pages? Is there a way to tell the program to print onto 2 pages? Any help would be great.....

NOPE
Not the way to do it.
You need 1 page... wasting your time and effort with 8.5 x 11 will just not do. You are already losing money waiting for an answer to this question.
You need to find a local print shop that will do some film for you until you can afford something bigger.
Maybe Kinko's (if you have one local) they are expensive though.
I would do it for you but my printer sucks too.
.... I can give you my opinion but I can't tell you if it's right or not.
