Don't want to prep screens in the dark, what can i do?

Post by freshprint »

Hi, I've been preparing all my screens in the dark and someone told me that if you spray yellow krylon spray paint on a normal light bulb, it'll be able to block out UV rays. And that this should allow me to prep my screens with good visibility provided by this light. Does this work? or what other alternatives are there to prepping screens w/out being in the dark? Thanks for any answers or feedbacks.

I use ulano rlx and coat screens with no problem in subdued room light then put them in the dark box.

Bug lights!!!

Use as many as you need to see.

The new compact fluorescent ones are
great cause they last a long time and
don't put out any heat.

We even have some in our exposure
unit to assist in lining up art on screens.

Bug lights.... good idea.

Spray painting a light bulb is a sure way to burn down your place.... who ever told you to paint a light bulb is a dumb ass
.... I can give you my opinion but I can't tell you if it's right or not.
