Exposing Screens With Halftones

Would a modified work light, two 500 watt bulbs. one housing two bulbs, 1000w tot., expose halftones?
(Shooting from below, distance yet to be determined)

I'm fairly sure it wont work. You need a high intensity light that can burn your screens very quick to avoid undercutting of image. Metal halide, merc vapor, etc.
