Removing Screenprinting From Plastic

Post by jm082207 »

Anyone have a solution?

I have a quantity (hundreds) of small plastic enclosures that have a screenprinted label that must be removed at the same time leaving the enclosure clean.

Thank you

Try some ink degrader on one and see if that works. You can get it from NazDar

You say it's a label?

Or is it printed directly on the plastic?

If it's vinyl ink you're probably outta luck.

The solvent necessary to remove the imprint will
melt and cloud the plastic.

You really need to start by finding out what plastic it is
and if possible, the type of ink used to print it.
