Problems with Sign Screen Printing

Post by gsgraphics »

I just got into printing on coraplast signs and I'm having a couple issues. Are there any experts on this process? The problem I'm having is after I print the sign and pick up the screen, the inside of the design looks as though the ink was pulled back off of it, leaving spotting. There are pictures to show what I mean; it's difficult to describe.

What ink are you using and are you going straight from can or using any thinners/retarders?

I'm using a thinner. I spoke with someone on it and I think we have it figured out. I think it was a problem with the distance of the screen from the sign.
