Ghost Images

Post by PizzaBrainzz »

Hey, I was curious what I can do to get rid of ghost images... Sometimes they are pretty heavy. I tried turpenoid with no luck. I can post pictures if need be....

Hey there,

There are chemicals made for this exact purpose. They're often called "haze removers". The stuff we use is called "D-haze" and it's made by Franmar. It's eco-friendly and gets the job done :)

Ghost images occur when a T-shirt lifts after its printed, while the ink is still wet....then moves to the next screen...when it tables up...your wet ink from you now, (unlined up) Tee...will leave a "ghost image" on your other screen...The same can be said when your lining up a job....So just make it a safe practice to wipe under your screen with "Screen opener" or use more "Pressure Adhesive" on your boards... hope this helped...happy printing
