Looking to build cheap exposure unit

Postby bearncze » Thu Sep 02, 2010 3:11 pm

I'm currently experimenting with a 500W Halogen work light and I don't like how hot they get or how long it takes to expose a screen. The screens I have are 20x24 (measured from the outside for some reason) and it took about 25 minutes to expose with the light about 25 inches away from the screen. I'm looking to build a simple/affordable exposure unit for them to get faster exposure times. I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers, like what kind of bulbs I should get, how far the bulbs should be from the glass surface and anything else I might need to keep in mind.
