I exposed my screen under a BBA No. 1 for 10 minutes. I got a VERY obvious stencil on my screen, and none of the emulsion outside of the stencil washed out (which was a problem I was having earlier). The stencil was almost transparent, but not quite - it was just really translucent. (I tried seeing if ink would go through it - no dice.) If the stencil looks almost washed out but isn't washing out all the way, does this mean I need less time? More time?

Sounds overexposed. Do a search here on step wedge test.

yeah it's definitely overexposed...determine ur exposure time by blocking off parts of the emulsion during exposure...

If you wet the screen, rub the emulsion, and its gummy and rubs off, it is under exposed. Over exposed means it was set too long, under means it wasnt set enough. think of it like cookies if they are not cooked enough they are under cooked if they are hard and solid they are over cooked
