Exporsue Unit

Post by kevincon »

I'm making my own exposure unit.
I have 5 two foot long lights, 15 watts.
Here they are
Image

They are spread out 24 inches wide.
How high should i make the plexy glass sit above the lights?
Is this method effective? Will it even work? How long should I shoot for my exposure time.

I appreciate any help.

do a site search on step wedge test. what kind of bulb are you using? you will need unfiltered blacklight bulbs, standard flourescent bulbs do not cover enough of the light spectrum.

Point light source works the best for exsposure.

Get a Metal Halide.

Do an exposure test, either with a stouffer strip or like this: http://www.t-shirtforums.com/t-shirt-ar ... 06506.html
